HomeDirectUK provides a link between property sellers and buyers throughout the World with the intention of helping them to reduce the costs involved in buying and/or selling their properties. However, both buyers and sellers must note that HomeDirectUK will not be held liable for any expenses or other inconveniences incurred as a result of using their services.

Our service to buyers is free.

Charges made to register a property are set out on our fees page but may vary due to special offers as indicated there or by personal invitation by e-mail (in which case you will be given a special address for registering your property and a special code to enter there). However, unless otherwise indicated charges are made as follows:

• To register a property for the first month the fee is £12.00.

• To continue registration for a second month the fee payable is £12.00.

• For the third month the fee is £8.00.

• for the fourth month the fee is £3.00.

• If the full registration fee is paid in advance when the property is registered a £5.00 discount is given. You then pay just £30.00.

• For the fifth and subsequent months until the house is sold (but up to a maximum of 12 months) registration is free as long as the seller responds, within seven days, to an e-mail message sent at the end of each month asking if the seller wishes to continue their registration.

• The price of a property can be changed at no extra cost when a monthly registration fee is paid or at any other time by paying an administration fee of £7.50.

• If the seller chooses to pay in full when registering they can then change the price up to three times at any time during the first four months just by e-mailing us.

• We can accept payment by most major credit and debit cards in several currencies.

It must be noted that HomeDirectUK cannot be held responsible in any way for the quality of photographs or the accuracy of any descriptions displayed in the database. Buyers must note that descriptions and photographs of properties should be used as a guide only and must not be relied upon to represent an accurate picture of the property being offered for sale; buyers should make appointments by contacting sellers, and arrange to view properties in person; satisfying themselves as to the suitability and condition of properties before entering into any contract to purchase them. HomeDirectUK also advises buyers to follow all normal procedures in the purchase of any property; i.e., obtaining a report on the property's condition from a qualified surveyor and employing a solicitor to carry out the conveyance.

HomeDirectUK will not release personal details of either buyers or sellers other than to publicise the name, telephone number and e-mail address of the seller along with the description of the property for sale (addresses will NOT be displayed or provided at any other time nor passed to any other company, nor used for any marketing purposes whatsoever; not even by us!). Sellers must provide at least their e-mail address but preferably also a telephone number where they can be contacted. Buyers will need to contact the sellers using either the e-mail address or telephone number displayed to arrange an appointment to view or to obtain any other information they need.

Even though property and personal details may be submitted before registration payments are made, properties will not be publicised on the website until such time as the registration fees have been received. In order to remain registered, sellers will need to respond, within 7 days, to e-mail messages sent by HomeDirectUK at the end of each month during the registration period. Failure to respond within this period will result in properties being removed from the database; reinstatement following this will require that the seller re-registers and pays initial registration fees again, i.e.:

• To register a property for the first month the fee is £12.00.

Sellers can remove their property from the database themselves at any time using the Control Panel feature or by informing HomeDirectUK, by e-mail, that they wish to do so; this e-mail must include the seller's name, postal address and database reference number, we will then remove the record for the seller.

We reserve the right to cancel any seller's registration after any "paid" period (i.e. after each month for which a registration fee is paid and any time after the first four months, i.e., during the free period) without notice. We reserve the right to refuse to re-register a seller's property after each "paid" period. We reserve the right to refuse to register, or to delete the record of a buyer's requirements at any time without notice.
